Hearth is a private space to meet the anxious part, the critic, the one that shuts down, and to lead from the calm that’s already in you. Talk or type, a few minutes at a time.
What a sitting sounds like
A part rarely eases in the first minute. Being met with patience is the point.

The real reason nothing sticks
Most self improvement works on the surface. More discipline, another system, one more morning routine. Underneath, parts of you are pulling in different directions, and until they feel heard, they keep winning.
How it works
Skip the journaling homework and the jargon. Hearth leads, you answer in your own words.
Name what is here right now. A feeling, a voice, a tightness in the chest.
Turn toward the part with curiosity instead of fighting it. What’s it afraid of? What’s it been carrying?
From the calm that can hold all of it, you respond to life instead of being run by it.
What is inside
One calm space, built for going inward and coming back steadier.
A warm guide that meets you where you are and never rushes. Talk out loud or type, whichever feels safe.
Hearth holds the thread of your inner world across sittings, so you are never starting from zero.
Your inner work is stored on your device and syncs securely to your account. Care and crisis resources are always one tap away.
A note from Billy
I grew up in a war zone. Those years left me with parts that never stopped bracing, and years of discipline and positive thinking barely reached them. What finally moved things was inner work: sitting with those parts, one at a time, and letting them speak. I healed enough to build a life. I am still doing the work today.
Hearth is the companion I needed on those nights: a quiet place to sit with a part for five minutes and be met with real curiosity.
This is my story, and it’s only a promise about me, never about what the app will do for you. But if your mind has its own loud rooms, you know why I built this.

The roots
Hearth draws on Internal Family Systems, the model Dr. Richard Schwartz developed. Internal Family Systems sees the mind as a family of parts around a calm center called Self. Therapists around the world have practiced and refined the model for more than forty years. Hearth translates that way of working into a companion you can sit with on your own, in plain language.

Hearth is informed by the IFS model. It’s a guide for self reflection and inner work, not therapy, and not affiliated with the IFS Institute or Richard Schwartz.

How Hearth compares
Wary of letting an AI near this part of your life? That’s fair. Here’s the straight comparison.
Hearth is daily inner work you do on your own, and many people use it alongside therapy. It complements clinical care and never replaces it.
Meditation calms the surface. Hearth meets the parts underneath, the ones making the noise.
A journal hands you a blank page. Hearth guides the next question, so you always know where to go from here.
A general chatbot gives advice and moves on. Hearth follows one method, remembers your parts between sittings, and slows down instead of filling the silence. One kind of work, done properly.
Questions
Hearth won’t push you there. It works gently with the protective parts first, and you set the pace: you can slow down or stop at any point. If something feels too heavy, it points you to real human support.
It isn’t. Hearth is a wellness and self reflection tool, and it’s never a substitute for professional care. In a crisis, it points you to immediate human help.
Your reflections stay on your device and sync securely to your account. We don’t sell your data, and we don’t use it to train AI.
It’s an AI, and it says so. Most people are surprised anyway: it listens, it waits, and it follows your words instead of handing out advice.
Who Hearth isn’t for: if you’re in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, you deserve human help right now. Call your local emergency number or a crisis line. Hearth is for the slow, ongoing work alongside the rest of your life.
