One to one
Work with me, one to one
Billy Barnard, IFS informed practitioner, trained through the IFS Online Circle, worked under a senior IFS practitioner. Not a licensed clinical therapist.
Alongside Hearth, I work with a small number of people one to one. Quiet, unhurried sessions for going deeper than an app can take you.
What one to one guided inner work is
Guided inner work sessions, informed by Internal Family Systems. We sit with what is actually present, meet the parts that carry it, and go at the pace your system allows. Online, for adults 18 plus, all genders.
This is not therapy and I do not offer it as therapy. It is depth inner work with a trained human beside you, one to one, not a script or a course. If you are new to the idea of parts, how to talk to your parts is a good place to start before we meet.
What a session actually looks like
We talk. Not about your life in the abstract. About whatever is loudest right now. The protector that keeps taking over. The pattern you cannot name. The part that goes quiet when things get hard. I ask what that part wants me to know, and we follow it from there. There is no script. Nothing has to get solved by the end of the hour. Some sessions are mostly listening. Some open something old. Both are the work.
Who it is for
People who want a human alongside the deeper work. Some come with one stubborn pattern they keep circling. Some have read about parts work and want to actually do it, sometimes after starting with the glossary or the wider model guide on their own. And some use Hearth, the app I built, between sessions and want a person for the heavier ground, an exile that needs more than an app can hold, or a moment that needs a real human witness. If you already use Hearth, a session is the human side of that same work.
This is one to one, not group work, and it is not crisis care. If what is present feels urgent or unsafe, that is a call for emergency services or a licensed clinician, not for this page.
How working together goes
Most people start with one session and we go from there. There is no package to buy and no fixed number of weeks. Some come once for a single knot they keep circling. Some return now and then, when something new surfaces and they want a person with them for it. You set the pace, the same way you would inside the work itself.
How to start
Write to me at archehype1987@gmail.com with the subject "One to one". A few lines about what brings you is plenty. I reply personally, and there is no obligation in a first message, we simply see if it is a fit.
Hearth, the app on this site, is my companion tool for the days between sessions. You can also read notes from practice, real first person accounts of this same method in use.
